Do I get a discount for bulk bookings?

Yes. Discounts are given on bulk or multiple bookings. You will be advised of any applicable discount(s) when you talk to one of our Training Advisors.

What is the process to book my course?

We have created three easy steps to make your course booking as seamless as possible.

  • 1. Find your course & reserve your place
    Enquire either online or over the phone. We check availability and you can even reserve a place on the course without commitment.
  • 2. Confirm your booking
    Once availability has been confirmed, CM Training will send you a quotation email detailing the specific course, date and location you have enquired about. Providing you are happy, all you need to do is email us to reserve your place.
  • 3. Receive your joining instructions
    Joining Instructions will be emailed to you two weeks before the start date of the course, containing start/finishing times, venue details, the training course outline and any other relevant information such as directions to the venue for face to face training or login details for web-based training.

How do I pay for a confirmed booking?

When you confirm your place on a course we will issue you with an invoice. Government tax is added to the invoice and charged at the appropriate rate on all fees and charges. Payment must be received 14 days from invoice date or before the course commences, whichever is sooner.

CM Training accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Electronic Funds Transfer
  • Debit card (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Delta, Maestro, Switch)
  • Credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Amex)
  •   - 1.75% + 30¢ for domestic cards
  •   - 2.9% + 30¢ for International cards
  • Personal or company cheque.

If full payment is not received by the due date, attendance at the course will not be possible. CM Training reserves the right to levy a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 10% per month accruing daily from the date the invoice becomes due for payment. If payment is not made within the specified time period, all discounted invoices will be re-invoiced at full fee.

Can I use educational vouchers?

CM Training can accept vouchers issued by IBM, Red Hat and Oracle. Otherwise we require full payment for a course.

Can I substitute trainees nominated for a course?

You may substitute nominated trainees at any time, so long as you let us know beforehand via email. Any substitute traineewill need to comply with any course prerequisites.

What is your cancellation & refund policy?

It is possible to cancel your course if you let us know in writing by recorded mail delivery
- 30+ working days notice: 100% refund
- 0-29 working days notice: No refund

Can I change the date of a confirmed booking

It is possible to change the date of your course if you let us know in writing by recorded mail delivery. Charges for date changes vary depending on how soon before course commencement you make your request.

- 30+ working days notice: No charge.
- 20-29 working days notice: 50% of invoiced course fee.
- 10-19 working days notice: 75% of invoiced course fee.
- 0-9 working days notice: 100% of invoiced course fee.

Where we subsequently invoice for date changes we issue a Transfer Invoice.

What types of types of training are available?

Whoever the provider, training can be delivered in one or other of the following types.

Instructor Led Classroom training - CR

  • Instructor-led classroom training is considered to be the most effective form of training, as it facilitates face-to-face direct interaction with an instructor and other students, hands-on exercises, information sharing and direct response feedback to any questions or queries.
  • being taught in a classroom setting;
  • to learn outside of their own environment;
  • being taught by a live, in-classroom instructor;
  • live group discussions, hand-on labs and exercises;
  • instructor presentations and demonstrations;
  • interaction with other students;
  • live feedback on progress and rapid answers to any questions or queries.

Onsite Training

When you need to train a group of employees on the same subject, onsite training will often be the best solution to meet your organisation’s needs.

eLearning

  • eLearning is highly flexible and enables students to access training at times convenient to them.
  • eLearning gives students the flexibility to complete as many modules in one session as they wish, or in small bite-sized modules.
  • Studying is completed at the trainee’s own pace without feeling pressurised to keep up with a classroom peer group.
  • Training costs are reduced and there is no travel down-time.
  • Students are able to interact online with other students, their training mentor, participate in group discussions and exercises trough discussion boards
  • Students can skip over material they already know and focus on topics with which they are less familiar and need to learn.
  • eLearning encourages students to reflect on what they have learnt and for some retention may be better.

What liability is CM Training subject to?

Our liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. We will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if we have been advised of such potential loss.

Who is the training provider?

We partner with leading national and global training providers (“third party providers”) to deliver training and also deliver directly with our own instructors, as appropriate to the client’s needs.. Our aim is to give you the most appropriate up-to-date training available within the marketplace. Once you have reserved your place on the course, we will be happy to advise you who is delivering this event.

What quality of training should I expect?

Our own standards are high. With our commitment to delivering the highest quality training possible, we only partner with reputable training providers that are accredited to deliver training for products by world leading vendors such as IBM, HP, Oracle and Red Hat.

Can I book from overseas?

Yes, we aim to be pioneers in delivering world class training solutions. CM Training courses and solutions are available worldwide – international enquiries are welcome.

Can I book a private trainer?

Yes. We can send an approved trainer to a site of your choice.

Can I book a training room?

Yes. We can provide training rooms with configured PCs.

Can I buy exam vouchers, or book an exam?

CM Training specialises in course provision. For exam bookings please contact Prometric or Pearson Vue.

Can I buy books or courseware?

Courseware can only be provided for delegates who attend a course. CM Training does not sell books or courseware separately.
